Description
Dubai chocolate strawberries are a viral treat layered in a cup with fresh strawberries, smooth pistachio butter, and rich melted chocolate—an irresistible combination you won’t want to miss.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 oz kataifi pastry, finely chopped
- 1 cup pistachio butter or pistachio cream
- 2 tbsp tahini (optional)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1½ lbs fresh strawberries, halved
- ¼ cup ground pistachios for garnish
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped kataifi and cook, stirring continuously, until it becomes golden brown and perfectly crispy. This process takes approximately 8-10 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat and immediately fold in the pistachio butter and tahini until everything is well combined. Add ground pistachios for extra texture. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips with coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until completely smooth and glossy.
- Take your clear dessert cups or glasses and begin layering:
- Start with 8-10 strawberry halves
- Drizzle 2 tablespoons of melted chocolate
- Add 3 tablespoons of the kataifi-pistachio mixture
- Repeat layers, finishing with a beautiful sprinkle of ground pistachios
- Serve immediately for the best texture contrast, or refrigerate for up to 10 minutes to let the chocolate set slightly.
Enjoy this incredible treat!
Notes
Storage: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 5 days. The strawberries may begin to soften after 2 days, but they’ll still be tasty and enjoyable.
