This delicious Bahama Mama smoothie is a fun take on a popular tropical drink. With both cocktail and mocktail options, it’s perfect for everyone in the family!

For the mocktail:
- 1 (12 ounce) container frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 (12 ounce) container frozen pineapple juice concentrate
- 1 (17 ounce) can coconut water
- 1 teaspoon coconut extract
- 2 cups ice
- 6 ounces grenadine
- Pineapple slices and cherries for garnish (optional)
For the cocktail:
- 1 (12 ounce) container frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 (12 ounce) container frozen pineapple juice concentrate
- 1 (17 ounce) can coconut water or 2 cups plain water
- 6 ounces white rum
- 6 ounces coconut rum
- 2 cups ice
- 6 ounces grenadine
- Pineapple slices and cherries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients except the ice and grenadine to the pitcher of a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Add the ice and blend again until the ice is fully crushed.
- Pour the mixture into glasses, then drizzle one ounce of grenadine on the side of each glass. Garnish with a pineapple slice and cherry before serving.
Notes
- For a thicker smoothie, add ice gradually until you reach your desired consistency.
- The mocktail version is perfect for kids and those who don’t consume alcohol.
- You can substitute fresh juices for the concentrates if preferred.
- Try adding a scoop of vanilla protein powder for a more filling option.
- For the best presentation, pour the grenadine slowly down the side of the glass.
