Ingredients

Scale

For the mocktail:

  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen pineapple juice concentrate
  • 1 (17 ounce) can coconut water
  • 1 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 2 cups ice
  • 6 ounces grenadine
  • Pineapple slices and cherries for garnish (optional)

For the cocktail:

  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen pineapple juice concentrate
  • 1 (17 ounce) can coconut water or 2 cups plain water
  • 6 ounces white rum
  • 6 ounces coconut rum
  • 2 cups ice
  • 6 ounces grenadine
  • Pineapple slices and cherries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients except the ice and grenadine to the pitcher of a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add the ice and blend again until the ice is fully crushed.
  3. Pour the mixture into glasses, then drizzle one ounce of grenadine on the side of each glass. Garnish with a pineapple slice and cherry before serving.

Notes

  • For a thicker smoothie, add ice gradually until you reach your desired consistency.
  • The mocktail version is perfect for kids and those who don’t consume alcohol.
  • You can substitute fresh juices for the concentrates if preferred.
  • Try adding a scoop of vanilla protein powder for a more filling option.
  • For the best presentation, pour the grenadine slowly down the side of the glass.
